News: While changes have occurred in the administration of the forum, the goal remains the open and uncensored exchange of information. I intend to keep this forum alive, well and growing. I also am working on a Carriage facebook page for those that would like to participate in that venue as well.   Please join, post, chat and
if necessary have an occasional issue, but feel free to air your joys, stories, issues and angst freely and without fear of censorship. We are a family, and as we all know, families love, share and fight as part and parcel of being human.   This is the members forum first and foremost, and I intend to keep it as such, no matter occasional criticism coming down the pike.

Respectfully,

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a "hobbies" section in our forum.  We are avid golfers and the only thing better than golfing would be golfing with fellow Carriage owners.
It doesn't have to be golf, well it does for us Cheesy, but any hobby that would bring us together might be fun.  We also love to play cards, shoot pool, and I'm learning Pickle Ball.
Just asking.  Hugs,  Di

Nah, no worries, it's clean Grin
The Paddle is a bit bigger than a table tennis paddle and it is played on a small version of a tennis court.  It has a net and lots and lots of rules I have to learn but it's learn as you go.  It's easier on the body than tennis but still gives you a lot of exercise.  More and more RV parks are setting up courts.  I learned about it 2 years ago really enjoyed it but unfortunately didn't keep looking for them as we went to different places.  They play here in Florida and I hope to start Sunday.  Hugs, Di

FWIW, there's a nice little 'muni' near the resort where the April rally will be, Scott Schreiner GC  http://www.golfkerrville.com/  I'm hoping to 'sneak away' for a round, maybe we can scrape up a foursome?

Sounds like a plan-Count Dutch and me in.  We'll see what is the best non-busy rally day and go for it.
Thanks for the link.  Looks like a nice course and the rates are good too.  Hugs,  Di
