News: While changes have occurred in the administration of the forum, the goal remains the open and uncensored exchange of information. I intend to keep this forum alive, well and growing. I also am working on a Carriage facebook page for those that would like to participate in that venue as well.   Please join, post, chat and
if necessary have an occasional issue, but feel free to air your joys, stories, issues and angst freely and without fear of censorship. We are a family, and as we all know, families love, share and fight as part and parcel of being human.   This is the members forum first and foremost, and I intend to keep it as such, no matter occasional criticism coming down the pike.

Respectfully,

I hate the fact that the first post is the last.  Can anyone tell me how to make the first post appear first?  Does this make since?

Not sure I understand what you mean. When you display a particular topic (thread), the first post made (the one with the eariest date) appears first. Since later posts are often replies to earlier posts, you are able to read the dialogue in its natural order.

When you reply to a post, the posts are shown in reverse time order in the Topic Summary because usually you are replying to a post made more recently.

If you click the "View the most recent posts" link on the forum home page, the last 100 posts made are shown in reverse time order.

When you click on a board (like "Slick and Tired"), by default the topics that have had the most recent postings are shown first. However you can change the order and sort on other columns (like number of views) by clicking on the column.
