Hi folks,  we are waiting to take delivery of our 2011 37MSTR and wondered if anyone has changed out the standard recliners for a double recliner or theater seating with a console (not the one offered as an upgrade through Carriage)? The standard recliners are a bit small for my 6'4'' hubby and we thought a console with storage & cupholders would be great. Of course space and weight must be considered and looking on the internet seems endless. I've thought perhaps moving the sofas where the chairs are but wondered if that allowed enough space for eating at the dinette?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you kindly,

Sharon R

Although we haven't got our 2011 36FWS just yet, we currently have a 37 ft 2010 Keystone Everest.  We replaced the factory couch with a Lazy Boy dual recliner couch and it fits perfectly and sooooooo much more comfy!  In fact, when we get our 36FWS in a couple of months we are going to transplant the Lazy Boy.  As far as weight goes, it is lighter than the factory couch.  I highly recommend Lazy Boy!

Sharon,

Cindy and I have considered swapping out our sleeper sofa for HT seating.  The sofa is very uncomfortable as seating and
useful only to lie on or convert into the bed.....please post anything you may find that will work without costing and arm and
a leg....

Thanks

Thanks everyone for your replies, I have looked into lazy boy and will consider them as they are customizable. I have also been looking at
http://www.discountvantruck.com/rvdoublereclinerseats/rvfurnitureMonaco.htm   but not sure of the fit where the sofa would normally go.
I've looked at some sites that feature Euro style seating w/ ottoman but they don't look altogether solid.

I'll keep you 'posted'  Wink
